Last Remnants of Plano’s Prairie Destroyed

Plano’s last two prairie remnants were both destroyed in the past month. Since October of 2023, we’ve rescued thousands of plants from the two sites. Those rescued plants, some I would estimate to be more than fifty years old, are the last tangible piece left of the once great Plano prairie. Most of the rescued plants are for sale on our website. Do your part to preserve and spread the genetics of the Plano prairie, to truly keep it alive.
